arrived last weekend. Well, actually it is not really new, it's my MIL's, but we can use it :)
It looks soooo good in my living room. It's like this spot in our house has always been waiting for the piano to arrive. As if it was meant to be. It all started when Anne came home a little while ago and told us that her music teacher had said to her she should learn to play the piano so she can accompany herself when she is singing. About the same time my BIL told us he didn't want to keep the piano that he was using from his mom anymore. So 1+1=2 and everybody agreed we would have it!
And now it's here and what I expected the least is that Lennart would be sooo enthusiastic. My BIL thought him how to read the basic notes and he is practicing every single free minute. He can already play some easy children's songs. It´s so fun! Even Marlijn can already play Father Jacob :) so now I'm looking for a piano teacher in the neighborhood...
Last Saturday we had our Warm and Snuggly Buzz workshop. We had such a great day! The participants made this gorgeous album, designed by Anita. There were all kinds of felt techniques in there like needle felting, the flower on the cover was handmade, and they now know how to make their own felt out of old sweaters...
Our next upcoming workshop will be all about Amy Butler. To learn more about this limited edition workshop click here! There are only 3 places left, so if you're interested, don't wait to long!
This week I'm working on the examples for the Knallende Kars Dagen where I will be demonstrating on February 7 & 8 to promote Prima goodies to the retailers :) Here's a little sneaky...
The awards I have to pass on to 5 bloggers so I give them the award and the tag:
Liesbeth, Elly, Ellemieke, Natasja and Astrid, just choose which one you would like to receive and pass it on to 5 other bloggers! For the tag you have to open the sixth folder on your computer or hard drive, take the sixth picture there and publish it on you blog. Of course we want to hear the story behind it :) The tag you have to pass on also!
This is me in 1970 on my fathers arm. I was 3 years old then. I scanned it in a couple of years ago to make a Christmas LO for my Book of Me.
OK, this is it for now. Thanks for stopping by!
