For the last month or so I didn't scrap much. I just didn't feel like it, didn't know where to start and what to use of my enormous stash... Last week I started again but to be honest, not because I really wanted but more because I thought I had to. In a couple of weeks I will be demonstrating at the Kars days again and although I still didn't get my supplies (the new Sassafras lines :) I decided to start making a few LO's already with some older Sassafras I had lying around. Just in case I don't get the new lines in time. And suddenly it was back! I printed some summer pics, gathered all my Sassafras stuff around me and started scrapping. And I soooo much enjoyed it!! It was so fun and I made 6 LO's in only 2 days! And even better, I really like them... all of them! They are ME again! I think I lost that for a while. Scrapping mostly for assignments, not always with materials or themes I like most and having to make a lot of LO's with the same line in limited time forced me to make LO's I didn't always really like myself. They missed something... But now I want to go on and on and am a little sad that I'm running out on Sassafras supplies. Can't wait to get the box with the newest stuff and continue working with these fun and colorful materials. I can't show any LO's yet but that's only a matter of time :)
But... I can offer you some sneakies!
Now something else. The new Creatief met foto's is out so I can finally show the LO's I made for the previous issue. All LO's were made using Jolly by Golly from Cosmo Cricket:
In this issue I have an article about ice skating. This is the last article I will have in there because as from this issue I will no longer be working for CmF anymore. But don't worry there are new challenges on my way :)
That's it for today, off to do some more scrapping :)
Have a fabulous weekend!
I know... I'm a little (lot) late, but nevertheless, I wish you all a very happy, healthy, loving and creative 2010!! A big thankx to all my blog readers for being so faithful visiting and commenting even though I suck in leaving comments on your blogs!! It is very much appreciated and I'll try to be a better girl this year!!
Yesterday I took my little girl to Groningen to get her ears pierced. She'd been asking about it for ages and I kept postponing it. But for Christmas I decided to give her ear rings and she was sooo excited.
So, yesterday was the day. We went to a shop that is know very good for piercing ears. They do the "twin-piercing". Two ears at the same time. But they told me they only do kids up to 8 years in the morning. Don't ask me why but they didn't want to make an exception for a 7 year old who was totally in tears because we had to leave without the job being done. So I took her to the first jeweler I good find. They did piercings to but only one at the time. So I told her that and also told her that it might hurt and that once one was in she could not say she didn't want the second one. She said: "I understand mommy, but I want to do it anyway!" So we did. And yes it did hurt! She started crying when the first one was in but was very brave and had the second one straight away. Then she got a lollipop and a big hug and all the hurting was forgotten :)
And now my little girl has ear rings... pink ones, of course... and again she looks a little bigger in just a second...
Right now snow is falling again. Since december 17th we have had only 2 days without snow and I love it! As far as I'm concerned it can stay this way until spring :)
I didn't scrap for a couple of weeks and it was nice taking a break, but yesterday at my crop I started again and made this LO:
OK, that's it for now! Hope you're all enjoying the weather and it's not causing you to much trouble!
