... with this LO! Don't know why, just not one of my favorites... but hey, you can't love them all, can you?
Wanted to use this sketch that was up on the Jillibean blog, I turned it to the left one time and wanted to put the title on the left side of the picture. But then I wrote the journaling first and forgot to leave any room for the title that was now to long, ughhh.... Anyway...
sometimes I love a finished LO, sometimes I hate one and a lot of times it's somewhere in between. As long as it's more love then hate it's ok but if I really hate it, I don't even post it on my blog... It end's up somewhere at the bottom of a box.
And how about you? Do you always like what you create? And if not, what do you do with it? Do you ever throw LO's or projects away? (I have a hard time doing that, even if I hate it!) Or do you put them in your album anyway (maybe have a special album for the hated LO's, LOL!).
Would love to know!
Ahhh, the weather is sooo beuatiful here right now! 22*C (in the shade!) No more winter coats, the laundry is hanging outside, all doors and windows open... I think I will work in the garden a little! :)
Yesterday evening I went to a crop at my friend Alice's house (Alice you really, really need to update your blog now, people might come to visit you :D). Mirjam and Anette were there too. Every now and then the 4 of us scrap together in one of our houses. We always have fun! Talk a lot, laugh a lot and scrap a little :)
I'm not a good scrapper when surrounded by people. I hardly ever get anything done during a crop. But yesterday evening I made this LO which I finished this morning by only adding a few little details, which costs me less then 10 min. I was very pleased with myself, LOL! Again I used an "old" picture, from 11 years ago. Weren't my kiddos cute? :)
OK, after all the mixed-media-dirty-hands-and-dirty-desk stuff it's time for something clean and simple again. Back to my geometric mix-and-match personality, LOL!
I forgot to buy new cartridges for my printer so I was not able to print out new pictures which forced me to take "old" ones. And actually that is good! I have several older pictures lying around waiting to be scrapped but somehow I always end up taking the newer ones. Now I scrapped a 5 years old picture and that makes me happy! :)
It's about a little village in France where we found a street with the same name as our DD. Worth taking a picture right?! Although they could have left the word "saint" out... haha!
It does not show in the picture but the corners of the dark green background paper are rounded too!
Off to scrap nother "old" picture :)
Thanks for stopping by again! Enjoy your weekend!
