Vacation pictures

Hi everyone! It took me a little longer then I planned to post again. With the kids still being at home it's hard to get back to everyday routine, and I have to admit that I like it :)

No alarm clock in the morning, going away with our boat for a whole day, go out for dinner and shopping... still feels a little like vacation. Besides that we celebrated Erik's birthday last weekend and had some guests staying over. We had a wonderful time!

But I promissed pictures of vacation so here are a couple:

On our way to Italy we went through Austria where we stayed 2 nights near Innsbrück which is a lovely city worth visiting.

Our camping place was at a little lake and surrounded by mountains, just beautiful!

Then we went to Lake Garda in Italy where we had this beautiful view from our swimming pool:

Beautiful Desenzano in the evening:

We also went to Verona where we saw the Arena:

And of course to Julliet's house where Romeo sang under her balcony. Touching the right brest of Julliet brings good luck!

One day we rented a boat and spend all day on the lake. I think this was the best day of our entire vacation :) Swimming, navigating and sun bading... To make this picture I had to swim away from the boat holding my camera above my head...

And then it was already time to go home and this was our welcome just before we arrived:

Rain, rain, rain... and it was soooo cold! Oh how I wished to turn the car and go back!!

Welkom terug van jullie prachtige vakantie! Zo te zien hebben jullie genoten. Hele mooie foto's allemaal en wat ziet Venetië er ook mooi uit! Helaas hadden wij ook al zo'n niet zo 'warme' ontvangst in Nederland. Nu maar hopen dat het zomerse weer snel weer komt. Geniet nog even lekker van de laatste weekjes (of daagjes?) vakantie!

welcome home! lovely photos! I did love Venice, but then again Patrick and I were there in June, so it wasn't smelly and dirty yet as it usually is in the summer. would love to spend some time at the Garda Lake sometime!
