Happy Valentine's day to all of you! May this day be filled with love!
Today I want to share with you a piece of jewelry I made using an old "silver" heart and Tattered Angels products.
The heart didn't look so nice any more, it was scratched and the color turned a little yellowish, so it was in my drawer and not being used anymore. No this month theme at the Tattered Angels blog happens to be metal so I decided to give it a try and give this heart a new life :)
First I painted it with 2 layers of Orange Crush glimmer glaze. Just before it was completly dry I sprinkeld some copper embossing powder on it and heat embossed it. On top of that a little Mermaid glam (blue) and finally some white rubons (Basic Grey and Hambly). I love how this turned out!
This morning we spotted a sparrow-hawk on Lennart's aviary. Not a very welcome guest but before chasing him away I had to take a picture. Such an amazing creature, he looks so strong!
Thanks for your visit! Check back soon for more Tattered Angels projects :)
Wishing you all a wonderful start of a fabulous week! (Only one more week until spring vacation :D)

Wow, Birgit, wat een fantastisch mooi hart heb je daar van gemaakt. Nu zul je het weer met veel plezier dragen denk ik!
Ik hoef je niet te vragen of je je inspiratie weer terug hebt!
