Today I have to honor of being the spotlight girl over at the Letraset blog!
I discovered Letraset markers at CHA and was enthusiastic about them from the first minute. When I was back home Letraset generously send me a range of their markers to play with and they are awesome!
I love that you can use them on any surface and the range of colors is enormous! Loads of bright colors, which I love!
I feel very honored to be in their spotlight today. I mean, if you go over to the Letraset website you can see the work of sooo many very, very talented artists. Real artists, that make the most beautiful artwork, yet they asked me to be their first spotlight girl. Me, just a simple scrapbooker, using the markers in a rather simple way... But, as Kirsty (who was so sweet of asking me for this) said " Sometimes the simplest things are the most inspiring" .
Maybe you've seen my post a little while ago where I used them on a layout I made for the Prima DT. Here I used Aqua markers on canvas an paper and blended the colors with a water brush. The colors stay bright and blend beautiful!
I also used them on a layout I made for Infocrea. On this layout I used them to add color to transparencies and to brighten up my title. Also I added a pattern to the buttons. I used both Promarkers and Aquamarkers and they both hold on plastic!
I love these markers so much that I decided to use them in a workshop I will be teaching in Germany and in my own studio in May:
For more information about this workshop you can click here!
To get you just as excited as I am I will give away a set of 6 markers worth $ 20,50!! Go over to the Letraset blog , leave a comment there, and then come back here to leave a comment on this post so I know you've checked out the blog. I will draw a winner by wednesday, april 13th!
Wishing you all a fabulous, sunny weekend!
