All Powder Puff Girls will be posting something inspiring to do with embossing powders on their blogs today.

I want to give you a mini tutorial on how to make your own unique embellishment using WOW! Clear Gloss Ultra High and little glas beads.

Take a piece of book paper, fold it lentghwise, draw a half heart on the fold and cut it out. You now have a perfectly symmetrical heart shape.

Color the heart. You can do this with spray paint (that's what I did), acrylic paint, ink... whatever you want.

Cover the colored heart with embossing ink like Versamark, sprinkle the embossing powder on top, tap of the excess of and let it melt with your heat gun.

Repeat this a second time to create a very thick layer of embossing enamel.

When the second layer is melted, but still hot and fluid, sprinkle in little glass beads. If necessary heat again to let the beads melt in but don't start heating while you're still sprinkling because you might blow away your beads (depending on the heat tool you use :))

Let it cool down and distress the edges with some black Stazon.

Now your embellishment is ready for use on a layout, in a mini album or on a mixed-media project.
