It's the last day of the year and we're all getting ready for a nice evening with family and/or friends and the final count down of 2012.
The last year has been a good one. We had a lot of nice family gatherings, 2 wonderful vacations that still make me smile remembering them.I went to a lot of new places/countries to teach and got to know a couple of sweet new friends, no one in our family got really ill and there were many more good things to be grateful for.
And now we're looking forward to the new year. Lots of exciting things are already planned.
Last Saturday we had a goodbey-surprise-party for my sweet daughter Anne. She is leaving to Hawaii in only 3 days. OK, I'm not really looking forward to not having her around for almost 6 months, but for her it is a wonderful and exciting oppertunity and I'm very happy for her!
Then only one week later I'm going to CHA, very much looking forward to that! It will be so fun to meet all those amazing and sweet people again! Most of them I only see once a year. I'm also excited to see all the new stuff we will be working with next year!
Right now I'm planning my trip to Finland where I will teach again. That will be so much fun!!
I'm also very excited about my Behind the Scenes-series that will start on January 4th! Every friday I will bring you interviews with a large variety of manufacturers. They will share fun and interesting stories about their companies and you will have a chance to win a great giveaway each week! Read all about it here!
And of course January is the month of the Creative Jump Start Summit 2013 for which I am one of the Jump Starters. This is such an amazing thing, initiatized by Nat Kalbach!! This is the second year and if you joined in last year I'm pretty sure you already signed up again. If you missed it last year... be sure to sign up for the newsletter now! You get loads and loads of inspiration and giveaways all month and it is FREE!!
Click here for all the information and to sign up and start the new year in an amazingly creative way!
Besides this there is much more to look forward too, but for now this is enough :)
I'm going to enjoy some oliebollen, a traditional Dutch New Year's Eve pastry that my dear hubby baked this morning and spend a lovely night with my family!
Wishing you all a wonderful, healthy, creative, happy new year!
See you all again in 2013!!

Wauw, Hawaii!

Safe travels to CHA. Do you have your own booth, or do you work inone that you are a design team member for?
