This weekend I went on our annual creative getaway with a couple of friends.
On Friday we first went to Creabest and Love Scrapping for some necessary shopping and then we had friday evening, Saturday and Sunday to be creative. It was such a wonderful weekend with lots of laughter, inspiration and good conversations. Already looking forward to next year!
One of the projects I created this weekend is this wooden heart with cardboard angel wings, both found at Love Scrapping. I covered both with gesso and added texture to the heart using a stencil from Pronty (which is a Dutch brand that I found at Creabest) and modeling paste.
Then I sprayed the heart and the wings with glimmer mist and let it all dry. More texture was created using several stamps. I used the crackle stamp from Tattered Angels that unfortunately isn't available anymmore, Hollywood Bowl/The Beatles from VLVS and this little stamp that has become my new favorite, Fond Petits Ronds from the French company Denim Tampons:
Make sure to check out their website, they have amazing stamps!
Banner and stickers are from Jillibean Soup. The letter stickers and potty people were originally yellow, I colored them with a black pen (Zig Artist Sketching Pen) and out lined them with a white pen (Reminisce). I used Crafty Power Tape from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3LTM to apply the wings to the heart.
Thank you for stopping by today and have a lovely week!!
