Hello and welcome to Crew Member Wednesday! Today we have Hermien with some cute little triangle gift boxes. How fun are these?!! Wouldn't you love to get such a lovely handmade gift? I would!
The theme of July is Alphabethsoup, I decided to make two small triangle gift boxes in stead of cards..
A few years ago I also made these triangle gift boxes and forgot how cute they are, and not un-important, how simple they are to make!
Here is a little video by Artoek where you can see how!
At first I cut two cards 10x15 cm (4"x6"), took an alphabeth stencil (don't know the brand) and added molding paste ( I applied also some gesso). After drying I randomly added brusho powders and sprayed (a lot of) water... When happy with the colors, dry with the heat tool.
Take your stamps and inks after folding the cards (watch the video to see how) so you can arrange where to stamp or add some stencilling.
On this card I stamped a lot of those beautiful stamps designed by Birgit. I stamped the hearts on a seperate, already painted, paper and glued them on the 'card'.
Then I added some (watered down) gesso splatters.
Punch two holes on each side, then fold the triangle into shape. Now you can insert your gift (money, flowerseeds, candy or just a small ♥ note ☺) then tie them together with some colorful yarn.

Enjoy making them (with your kids?)!
See you next month!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
