Hello there! Welcome to a new BMMAC post! Today we have Hermien with a lovely idea using cut out stamped shapes. Imagine filling a Christmas tree with loads of these colourful and pretty ornaments or just hang them in front of your window!
It's november ! And november means that it's almost... the reason I decided to make NO CARDS (because it don't send cards for Christmas) but a funny way to use a stamp for its shape...
(and think of me cutting those shapes (I hate cutting ;-))
So simple to make (especially when you like cutting) emboss the big flower shapes in white and black on pre colored paper (thick printing paper), cut the shapes, fold them in half and glue the back sides continiously adding a next shape until finished (don't forget to place a small rope in the center before glueing the last shape), for this one I used 8 flower shapes, you can make it thicker by adding more... I left the tips loose because I glued them irreguraly and because I like the curly effect.
I liked the round flowery shape but thought it could use something extra so I made a bunch of circles to create 'hearts' in the centers, I used the same technique as for the flower shape.
Stamps I used for this project:
(and since there is also a smaller flowershape from Birgits hand, you can make smaller ornaments too!)
Have fun making yours!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
