Prima Build a Page and Revolution.com layouts by Christiane Müller

Since I was on vacation I didn't have the change to play along with Prima's august BAP, but I did do July's BAP and haven't showed it here yet, so here it is!

You might recognise the tag. I made it a while ago when I was playing around with paint and glimmer mist. More tags here and here. You can find the sketch, the Prima products I used and more inspiration here on the Prima blog!

Also I want to share today 2 gorgeous LO's my sweet friend Christiane made using my paperline Revolution.com. I think they're just amazing!! Christiane's layouts alwasy pop, make sure you visit her blog for tons of inspiration! Thanks Christiane, I love them!!

My sweet friend Revlie made this LO using Revolution.com. Thanks Rev! I love it, it's so YOU! :) It's fresh and clean and I love the embroiderd title! Check out more of Rev's work on her blog Life is good!

The colors in the pictures go so well with the papers and the beautiful Prima flowers give the paper a sweet and girly touch!  And look at those sweet girls... aren't they the cutest??!!

Chantal used a transparency on pink paper which makes it more soft and girly. I love the craft colored tags and envelope on the second LO and how she created the journaling spot on the doily!

Thanks girls for sharing these LO's with me and giving me permission to show them on my blog!!

Now, this will probably be my last post for a while. Tomorrow evening I'm leaving with Anne for London untill monday. I can hardly wait!! :)  Hope to be back with loads of London pictures next week! :)

LO's made with Revolution.com

It is such a fun experience... while blog hopping last week I came across some LO's made with Revolution.com. It made my heart skip a beat... when I opened those blog pages, seeing the LO's appear and I suddenly realized what I was looking at. When I turned in my designs at InfoCrea I was very nervous about them. I was afraid nobody would like them, in fact I didn't believe they would really be released until the day before... To find out that people actually bought AND used my papers is such a GREAT feeling!! Makes my fingers itch to create more :)

4 ans et 3 mois is made by Giniew. She's a member of the InfoCrea DT. I love the fresh and simple style and the green she added!

Het Paradijs is made by Marsha Valk. I love how she used an old picture (doesn't she look cute?) and combined it with this "modern" paper. It works so well!! Also love the stitching on the circles!

Photo shoot is made by Margriet. I love that she used so many different paper AND so many pictures on one page. The added crystals make it a very feminine page!

Travel companion is made by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. Julie made this LO also for the InfoCrea DT. I think that stitched airplane is simply amazing. I'm so thrilled to be in the Prima DT together with this very creative and talented lady!!!

Scraptastic 2010! workshop

The third and last workshop I will be teaching at Scraptastic 2010! in Belgium (september 25-26).

Trying something new...

After a whole bunch of "clean and graphic" LO's I felt the need to get my hands dirty again :)

So I took out some transparencies, stamps and alcohol ink and made this LO.

It's not the materials on this that's new... it's also not the techniques, I've all tried them before... but what I can't remember EVER having done before... is cutting out my picture! I just don't do that... But this time I made the background first and then tried to fit in the picture and for some reason i just didn't like that whole "big" picture taking away the background. So I cut it out!! I'm not really sure about this although I think it looks kind of cool...

So... what do you think?

Revolution.com, first LO by me! :)

It took a little while before I got my papers but now they're here!! Yes! And I am sooo happy with how they look in real!! I guess you can imagine that I just HAD to create something with them today :)

So here is my first LO with Revolution.com: Li'l miss Monroe

Journaling says: A city somewhere in France... a grid in the side walk with air coming out. So you might not wear a little skirt but your hair is flying everywhere and you love it!

The traditional family picture we take every year during may vacation when we spend a couple of days with my family in law. 47 years agon my MIL and BIL started this family together. Now there are 21 and nr. 22 is on it's way...

LO with Revolution.com by Nat Kalbach

 

 My sweet friend Nat Kalbachis in the InfoCrea DT and therefore one of the first girls to receive my papers! Today she made this awesome LO for me and I think it is sooooo cool to actually see my papers being used! This is what Nat said: "I love the geometric forms and colors- esp. the teal and orange combo. The overlays are amazing- I'm sure I will use them a lot :)". Thank you so much Nat, and thank you for your support too! :)
