Happy Monday! We have a brand new week ahead filled with oppertunities to craft and create! :)
My week will be all about magazine work and workshops to prepare but over the weekend I had some free hours in my studio to play. After using acrylic paint with ecoline, acrylic paint with Dylusions and acrylic paint with Glimmer Mist last week I wondered how the combination of acrylic paint with alcohol ink would work out... and I LOVE it!
To create this page I used heavy glossy specialty paper for stamping and randomly dripped several colors of alcohol ink on it. Then I covered some parts with white acrylic paint and when it was dry I added more alcohol ink on top of the white paint.
I used a mask to draw the circles with a black pen and also stamped some bigger cirles with the lid of a small jar. The leaf is one of my own hand cut designs.
Materials used: Alcohol Ink - Ranger/Adirondack (Citrus, Sunshine Yellow, Clover, Sail Boat Blue and Cloudy Blue); Acrylic Paint - Aleene's White; Stamping Ink - Cocoa Daisy Black; Stencil ?; Letter Stickers - American Crafts (colored them with a yellow Aquamarker), Glitz Design; Black Zig Artist Sketching Pen; French dictionary; little piece of punchanella as a template for the black dots in the upper left corner; hand carved stamp (Speedball Speedy Carve); sewing machine.
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
