Today I'm sharing with you a layout that I created for the Carabelle Studio blog.
If you don't know this French manufacturer of beautiful detailed rubber stamps and stencils then you should check it out here!
To create the background I used white embossing and spray paints. If you want detailed instructions you can go to the blog post on the Carabelle blog where you will find them in French and English.

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great one!
I see my last post was already 2 weeks ago. Wow, time flies this time of year.
So before the year is over I thought I'd share this tag. Actually this was my first project for Carabelle Studio. The phrase is in French and means "Fly above the clouds".
How to create this tag:
Put the mask “Soleil & Papillons” on the mask.
Mix some glitter with gel medium and use a bank card to apply it over the mask. Remove the mask and make sure to clean it right away. Let the gel medium dry.
The gel medium will dry clear revealing the glitter and the color that is underneath.
Paint over the whole tag with a mixture of orange and pink IZINK, then clean the surface with kitchen paper. The IZINK will remain on the paper but not on the gel medium.
Randomly stamp some texture using “Texte et nid d’abeilles” Use a white pen to color in some of the little circles.
Cut a circle from paper that fits the circle opening of the mask image, then stamp in the circle using “Chiffres et Publicité”. Stamp the “Libellule” on a piece of acete. Stamp the part with the butterfly of “Collage Texte et Négatif” 2x also on acetate. Cut out the libellule and the butterflies and color them on the back using a variety of IZINK.
Stamp the sentiment on colored paper and cut in strips. Apply them to a tag. Embellish the tag with sequins, crystals, a little flower and a piece of ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by today!
I created these fun candle light holders for Carabelle Studio.
They are really easy and quick to make so you have plenty of time to make some before Christmas. Spice up your Christmas table or add some atmosphere to your Christmas decorations.
All you need is some tissue paper (like the kind that comes in a shoe box), some stamps, permanent stamping ink and gel medium.
Instructions can be found on the Carabelle Blog, in French and English.
You can find a step by step tutorial on the SAby3L blog showing you how this tag was created using adhesives, WOW! Embossing Powders, Elizabeth Craft Designs Shimmer Sheetz and Silk Microfine Glitter, Sizzix embossing folder and movers & shapers.
So hop over there for a fun and free tutorial and a list of all the materials used!
Would you love to make your own unique and personal Project Life cards but think it is to time consuming?
Not with this easy and quick technique. I created this whole set of cards in less than 15 minutes.
Start with coloring all cards in a row. Drip a few drops of IZINKs on your craft sheet and spray some water on top. Put a card on top of the IZINKs and move it around a bit. Lift up and put aside. Take a second card to pick up the left over IZINKs from your craft sheet. Add new drops of IZINKs on your craft sheet, spray water and (if you want more color on it) put your second card on top. Put aside, pick up the left overs with the third card and so on. Dry the cards with a heat tool. Then simply stamp with you favorite stamps and black ink (Cocoa Daisy Basic Black).
If you want to you can pick up some left over ink with a small brush and color in specific parts of the stamped image as I did on this one:
There you go! Ready to journal, maybe add some small embellishments and you're done!
It's weekend! So take out your inks or paints, your favorite stamps and play!!
Have a great one! Happy crafting!
