I'm excited to announce that for the third year in a row I'll be participating as a JumpStarter in Creative JumpStart (CJS) 2014, run by Nathalie Kalbach. If you're not familiar with CJS, it's a one-of-a-kind community event to inspire your creativity.
Need help getting your creative mojo going in 2014? CJS can help.
Throughout January participants get 23 videos from 21 featured artists. I'm proud to be one of those artists. It's an amazing event where you can learn new techniques, discover new materials, and connect with other Mixed Media Artists and Scrapbookers.
Head on over to Nathalie's site to sign up and for more information .
CJS costs just $20 for the 3.5 hours of video content. That's less than $1 per video -- a great deal.
Here's a short video for more details:
So join me and 20 other artists this January for CJS 2014!
Do you remember Nat Kalbach's Creative Jumpstart 2013 that took place last januari? Don't you think that was the coolest, most inspirational online event ever?
I had the honor to be one of the contributors. We all made a video showing how to use 1 product in 3 different ways. I choose to work with Wow! Fab Foil (transfer foil), a product I absolutely love and that is so much more versatile than you might think.
Today I want to share my video with you. Maybe you've seen it already but want to refresh your memory and get inspired again. Maybe you've missed the event (in that case I feel very sorry for you, LOL!) and then this is your chance to take this little, free, tutorial :)
The video takes about 16 minutes to watch and will give you step-by-step instructions on how to use Fab Foil. I hope you enjoy it and if, after watching, you feel the urge to get some Fab Foil (there is a big chance that you do :)!) then you can order it here: WOW! Embossing Powder! Have fun!
I would love to hear if you enjoyed the video so your comments are highly appreciated! Thank you for watching and have a lovely day!
Here we go again. After last year's success of Creative JumpStart Nathalie Kalbach decided to organize it again. About 4.500 subscribers joined the Creative JumpStart in 2012. It was so much fun! So here is the scoop about it: January is approaching--a month that is full with promises, resolutions and intentions. A month that for many is following lots of holiday celebrations, family gatherings and other end-of-the-year events. It’s also time to start creating again. But suddenly there it is for some of us: that lost feeling on how to start. Here is the cure :) Nathalie invited a group of wonderful, inspiring and creative ladies and gentlemen from around the globe in the mixed media and scrapbooking world to join together for the Creative Jump Start Summit 2013. We are coming together to show you some ways to get back into the creative groove and how to get your creative juices flowing. We want to share with you "3 Ways to ..." help you jump-start your creativity in 2013. Let me show you who is participating:
Here’s what you get and how it works:
So come on—get inspiration from some of the most creative people in the community What are you waiting for? (Did I mention it’s FREE?)
Don't miss out on this daily inspiration! And please feel free to share this awesome event with all your friends! Have fun!
Today I'm sharing this art journal page on the Crafty Power Blog:
Yes, you might have seen this before, a while ago. But I thought it shows well how some of the Scrapbook AdhesivesTM by 3L products can be used so in case you've missed it... head over to the Crafty Power Blog to watch my little video tutorial.
Have a Lovely weekend!
Yesterday I told you what I did to jump start my creativity. There's a lot of ways to do that and in January you had the chance to sign up for the Creative Jump Start Summit 2012. During that monthh you got links to videos made by an awesome bunch of artists that showed you really cool ideas and ways to get going. My friend Nat Kalbach who organized this all asked me to join in and share with you what works for me. And I was very happy to do that! So today I want to share with you the little video I made.
It's simple and not long. You won't hear me talking in it or actually see me doing anything but I think it might help you a little to jump start your creativity whenever you feel like your mojo is gone or you just need a starting point to get going.
Hope you liked it!
8 pm CET / GMT +1 / 11:00am PT/ 12:00pm MT/ 1:00pm CT/ 2:00pm ET!
Would love to see you there!
