Yeah, friday afternoon! Almost weekend. I'm working hard to get some workshop examples done and hope to be able to show some of them next week! One of them is a journal filled with Canvas Crop goodies. A box with all the gorgeous stuff arrived here this week and I'm all excited about this workshop! Just started with the canvas cover and it looks gooood!! OK, just my humble opinion :)

And a blog post without any pictures is no fun so here's a projects I did for this month theme at the Tattered Angels blog. Fabric!
A family heart hanger. I used unbleached cotton and first sprayed it with Sun Sisters and Tuscan Sun glimmer mist. While it was still wet i put the Timeless Romance screen on top and went over it with Orange Crush and Flirty glimmer glaze allowing it to go under the screen. Then I stamped on top with the Timeless Romance heart stamp and a text stamp

Hello!! I see it's been already 8 days again since I updated my blog. And I sooo planned on blogging more regularly!
Ahhh well, at least I've been creating :) This layout I made for Prima's March Product Pick and Palette with mostly green colors:
Materials used: 920494 DD foam stamp | 548698 Dechire Flower- Nanette | 920999 & 920968 Sculpture flowers | 537753 Athena flowers- Powder Puff | 541781 & 537418 Alphabet stickers | 547165 Birdsong Paper Bird- script | 517717 Journal frames clear stamps | 843083 Sweet Fairy Paper - Rosebud | 842291 Reflections Paper - Goldsboro | 921415 Cabachon Collection Flowers | Lace ribbon
I used this stamp
920494 and turned it a quarter to the left to create the back ground of my layout. I stamped with brown Stazon ink.
To color the bird and give the letters the exact matching colors I used Letraset markers. These permanent and aqua markers are just wonderful for scrapbooking. You can use them on any surface and alter your products to fitt your layout!!
To color the title letters and the bird I used aqua markers and a water brush to blend the colors.
For the smaller title letters I used pro markers to get a solid opaque look:

I'm happy to announce that Nathalie Kalbach and I will be teaching at Scrapbook Werkstatt in Linsengericht-Altenhaßlau, near Frankfurt in Germany on May 21-22!
We both will be teaching 3 workshops over the weekend. More details will follow soon! I will keep you updated :)
Saturday was great. Revlie and Liesbeth arrived around 11 a.m. and left around 9 p.m. You migt think we could have done a LOT of scrapping during that time, and I guess we could, but we didn't really... We just talked and talked and talked and laughed and had a lot of fun but almost forgot to scrap. In the end we did get our hands a little dirty playing with glimmer mist, but to say we were very productive? Hmmm :D Anyway, I had a wonderful day! Thanks ladies, hope we can do this again soon!!
(Liz, if by any chance you see this... the dutch apron you made is Marlijn's all time favorite! :D)
When Marlijn got home after her play date in the afternoon she joined us (my little girl loves to scrap!) and boy did she enjoy all the attention! Of course both Revlie and Liesbeth had to sit next to her for dinner :D
Last thing to share today are some pictures of Marlijn with her bunny Nina. She takes so good care of her. Feeds her every day without me telling her. Cleaning the cage, playing with her... She really loves her bunny! :)

I feel very honored that I was asked to be march' guest designer on a Spanish sketch blog called Pasión por el Scrap!
Yesterday my sketch went up on the blog together with the layout I created with it.
I created the beaded circles around the pictures by stringing little beads and letter beads on a piece of wire.
To get my printed text on the journaling cards I first typed it in word with enough space between the seperate pieces of text and printed it on a piece of A4 paper. Then I adhered the journaling cards to the paper using a non-permanent MyStiktm from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3Ltm and run the whole piece through my printer again.
I used Stazon ink to stamp on clear buttons. I think this makes simple but great accents!
I asked some friends to participate in this challenge and their creations will be up on the blog in a couple of days. They made some very cool and very divers projects. So check back later :)
I got a really sweet and cool award from Odetta. She designed it especially for people that she admires (as she calls it :)) and I feel very honored to have received it!! Thank you Odetta!
Tomorrow my friends Revlie and Liesbeth are coming over to play in my studio all day!! I'm so looking forward to it, we sure will have fun! And I know we will have very dirty hands tomorrow evening :)
