And here is what I did with my MYSTERY BOX…
The stamping on my box is on the embellishments. I stamped a pattern on the originaly white Prima paper flowers using Danke für alles and He loves me using Olive Stazon. After stmaping the flowers I colored them with Glimmer Mist. The white fabric leaves were stampes with the burlap stamp from the Repeat after me set. I also used that stamp to create the pattern on the wooden flourishes which I embossed first with distress embossing powder.
I filled my box with home made cookies, including the receipy so the lucky receiver can make them herself too! :)
Now it’s time to HOP along and find out what the next talented designer has created with their MYSTERY BOX. Your next designer is Linda Abadie Don’t forget to leave a comment below for a chance to WIN one of our MYSTERY BOX giveaways!

Last Saturday my new car arrived. I knew that it was coming for a while but creating and adding the lettering took some time. On friday it was finally finished and I proudly present my awesome Fiat 500.
We saw this car for the first time at a garage in Italy in 2007 when it was just realeased and not available in the Netherlands yet and I've wanted one ever since :) I love it!!
Cool huh?!!!
Remember to check in for WOW tomorrow and don't miss myStamp BOX blog hop starting on Thursday, 23th!

This months theme at the Tattered Angels blog is the Color Cennection of Tattered Angels with Pink Paislee, so today I want to share with you a project I created with the lovely Pink Paislee paper and the coordinating Tattered Angels Color Kit Daily Junk which contains Aquamarine Glimmer Mist, Dark Denim Glimmer Mist, Pewter Glimmer Glaze, and Organic Garden Glimmer Glam.
A layout with a cute picture of my little niece and nephew walking hand in hand. Only imagine the future they have ahead of them… oh! The places they’ll go!
I sprayed a white piece of cardstock with a big doily as a mask on it with Aquamarine and the little doilies with Dark denim. The little splashes were made with Pewter glaze.
The circles on the flower dies where stamped with Dark denim glimmer mist. I just sprayed a little glimmer mist on my crafting mat and dapped the stamp in it. I also sprayed the foam letters which were originally brown with Dark denim glimmer mist which makes them almost black.
Please check out the Tattered Angels blog to find many more wonderful projects using a variety of Pink Paislee paper lines and the coordinating Color Connection Clam Packs!
Have a great monday!!

So I finally had a little bit of "me-time" today :)
Hubby was away all day, kids had all their to-do-on-saturday-stuff (and I even didn't have to drive :)) and no deadline for at least 4 days!
I decided to do something fun just for me, create something without thinking whether the products are new enough or still available in stores, without thinking if one manufacturer goes along with another I wanted to use, just to use whatever I liked from my stash...
Creating just for the sake of playing.... ohhhh, what a great day!! :D Wish I could spent all my days like this! LOL!
So I took out a canvas (12x12"), book paper, gesso, a brayer, Tattered Angels chalkboard, canvas sheets, Letraset Aquamarkers, a water brush, bubble wrap, acrylic paint, a black pen, stamps, Stazon and some old rubons from 7Gypsies, Hambly and Fancy Pants and I played whole day long...
and ended up with this canvas:
I just love how these colors pop!
Chalkborad colors I used are Alaskan Salmon, Firefly, Inchworm, Polka Dot Pink (which looks actually a little more redish than you see below) and Peacock:
I used a variety of red, orange, yellow, blue and green Letraset Aquamarkers. You can find all colors here!
Wishing you a colorful and love filled weekend!

that feeling that you created something that turned out just the way you imagined and it makes you really happy?! That you look at it and think "this is so perfect"!? Something like a 1 in a 100 projects feeling...
That's how I feel about this travel diary.
About half a year ago my sweet friend Liesbeth made this "december daily journal" and I just love it! I knew that one day I would make something like this. Instead of sewing the pages in like Liesbeth did I used a Zutter spiral. This way I can add (or remove) pages while working in my journal since I don't know exactly how many pages I need.
I collected all kinds of papers, envelopes, tags, little page protectors, a little book that came with Flow Magazine, pages from my Flow agenda and notebook pages. For a book like this you don't need the newest paper collections and fancy embellishements. A great way to use your stash!
I made a chipboard cover and applied fiber fill on the front and back. Then I sewed a cover from fabric to slide over the chipboard pages. I just LOVE my soft and chunky journal and already looking forward to work in it this summer! All I have to bring is a black pen, watercolor pencils, a water brush and a MyStik!
So how will you be journaling your vacation this year?
