Got a very exciting e-mail this morning!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited! I got this e-mail this morning saying:

"I would like to thank you for taking the time to submit your entry to the mystery embossing company. I would also like to let you know that YOU have MADE OUR TEAM!!!  Congratulations! Suzy West" 

I can't tell you all the details just yet, but, hopefully soon! 

Suzy West is heading up the Company and the name of the Company will be announced very soon!

What a wonderful day!

Today I celebrated my birthday and it was such a wonderful day!

I had a lot of visitors and was soooo spoiled!!! Also I was overwhelmed by all the sweet wishes i got on facebook, by e-mail and sms! Thank you all for that!

I was amazed by the number of people that played along for the give-away. 146!!

And now I will make this a lovely day for someone else too. I entered the amount of comments I got on the give-away post in Random.org under super vision of my son Lennart and it decided that the winner is number 36!

2012 Tattered Angels Design Team Announcement!

And here is a layout I created for the Scrapbook Adhesives^tm by 3L Crafty Power Blog, that also includes a lot of Glimmer Mist:

The background paper is actually the backing of a package of Prima canvas letters. Al the color on here, on the paper, the labels, the doily and the photo corner flower, even on the wooden flowers comes from Tattered Angels products.

I used the MyStik permanent dispenser to apply the picture, the paper parts and the wooden flowers. For the buttons in the middle of the wooden flowers I used small 3D foam squares.

For the butterflies I used the MyStik permanent dispenser also, adding just one tiny little strip of adhesive in the middle of the butterfly allowing me to bend the wings for more depth.

I used stamps, Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Mist to create the paper where the butterflies were punched from.

The green flower shape on the doily on top of the page is made from spray painted Photocorners -Classic Style white.

We have a new school photographer, WOW!

I was never a big fan of school pictures... They have these funny colored backgrounds and most of the time you can see they are not feeling comfortable. But.....

A few weeks ago my mother in law gave me fun book on how to crochet little fortune puppets. With a little help of my friend Alice I finally finished one this week. Meet my little angel :)

It's not perfect, I made some little mistakes but I think nobody notices :) Isn't she cute?

I can upload again!!! :) New workshop announcements!

So I tried all morning to upload pictures and nothing worked, even send a help request to Typepad and then a scream for help on FB. Then I got the advice to change my browser so I changed from IE to Google Chrome and guess what??? It's quite obvious, right, that I know NOTHING of computers?! Luckily there are great people out there that do! :)

I will be teaching at Treasured Memories, Oak Park, California in January

I am totally excited that I can finally share that I will be teaching at Treasured Memories in Oak Park, California on Saturday, January 28, 2012! That is the day before CHA starts, so if you happen to be a bit early for CHA, Oak Park is only a bit more than an hour from Anaheim ;)

I will be teaching 2 classes, one in the morning: 10 am - 1 pm and the second one in the afternoon: 2 - 5 pm.

I would love to show the projects but I can't upload any pictures right now :( Have to figure that out!

Intohimona Skräppäys 2012, Finland

I am so happy and excited that I will be teaching at the Intohimona Skräppäys 2012 (”Passionate about Scrapbooking”) event in the spa hotel Peurunka near Jyväskylä, Finland together with my lovely talented friend Revlie on April 21-22, 2012!!

I've never been to Finland but my brother in law has been there on a bussiness trip and he told me it's an amazing beautiful country and the people there are really nice so I'm very much looking forward to this trip! Also ofcourse because I will be traveling with Rev which will make this trip a lot of fun no matter where they bring us! LOL!
