I really do! The more texture the better!
I like to layer all kinds of stuff like tags, doilies, tissue paper, chipboard pieces, buttons, bookpaper, lace etc. Cover the whole with gesso, add some modeling paste using stencils and then spray paint it.
Here are 2 layouts I made for one of my classes using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Chalkboards.
On the 14th I will be posting another texture canvas on the Tattered Angles blog using some of the new colors that are being revealed at CHA! They are totally amazing and I am very excited about them!
