I see my last post was already 2 weeks ago. Wow, time flies this time of year.
So before the year is over I thought I'd share this tag. Actually this was my first project for Carabelle Studio. The phrase is in French and means "Fly above the clouds".
How to create this tag:
Take a printed tag (Prima) and paint it with yellow IZINK (by Aladine).
Put the mask “Soleil & Papillons” on the mask.
Mix some glitter with gel medium and use a bank card to apply it over the mask. Remove the mask and make sure to clean it right away. Let the gel medium dry.
The gel medium will dry clear revealing the glitter and the color that is underneath.
Paint over the whole tag with a mixture of orange and pink IZINK, then clean the surface with kitchen paper. The IZINK will remain on the paper but not on the gel medium.
Randomly stamp some texture using “Texte et nid d’abeilles” Use a white pen to color in some of the little circles.
Cut a circle from paper that fits the circle opening of the mask image, then stamp in the circle using “Chiffres et Publicité”. Stamp the “Libellule” on a piece of acete. Stamp the part with the butterfly of “Collage Texte et Négatif” 2x also on acetate. Cut out the libellule and the butterflies and color them on the back using a variety of IZINK.
Stamp the sentiment on colored paper and cut in strips. Apply them to a tag. Embellish the tag with sequins, crystals, a little flower and a piece of ribbon.
