This layout featuring a picture I took on Malta last year was in the 2014 december issue of Histoires de Pages. Although I had a consent from Cisk to publish this layout the French law prohibits advertisement for alcohol in magazines and I had to change out the picture for a different one and change the theme.
Because I like the original better (especially because the colors in the picture) I decided to share this one in stead of the one that was actually in the magazine featuring a picture with Malteser boats.
To create the background I first covered the cardstock with gesso and added texture using a stencil and modeling paste. Then I applied Ecoline (watercolor ink) and water and let the ink move around. When the ink was dry I added some contrasting colors of acrylic paint (purple and pink). To create the "drops" I stenciled through punchanella on book paper and then cut out the shapes.
Thank you for visiting!
Happy crafting!
Love,
