Welcome to Crew Member Wednesday! It's June and this month's theme is "Stencils in the spotlight". Today Hermien is sharing 2 beautiful mixed media cards with you. I love how she used a little bit of red as an accent color to the blue/black and white. It makes the cards pop! And hey, what is not to love about the colors of the Dutch flag? :)

Hi BMMAC lovers ☺
The theme for June is 'stencils in the spotlight', happy me, because I work with stencils all the time, I like the effect, it gives a card more depth and it is fun to do (sometimes it is a big surprise when you lift up your stencil ☺)
I had a pile of left over cards from my previous post , you can read there how I made them.
This time I made two cards.
for the first card I used the stencil 'triangle mesh' and black gesso on top, I recently started to use more black and I like the effect, stamped and embossed 217 and the text, I embossed the hearts also in lime, but didn't like it, so stamped it on a seperated paper and glued it on top....
The second card was stamped with those really nice (knitted) circles (love them!) and I used some number dies (no brand) and washi tape with text and glued the white circle with Birgit's scribbled script circle stamp on top. Of course some doodling to finish.
Both cards together:
What I used to create these cards:
Have fun creating!
