Hello there. It’s already June and here in Norway we are still waiting and hoping for that warm sunny weather. Hopefully by the time this post is live we’ve got at least some days without rain. This month’s project is inspired by summer gardens and it’s a typical project I would make to give away to a friend or someone else who could need a token of love and this is for me more personal than a card.
The video shows how I prepare the backgrounds on the canvases with collage, masks, Gel medium and paint. When I was finished with the canvases and kept looking at them I thought they looked too white. So at the end of the video I’ve got some still images. I did paint one of the white backgrounds green before I started working on it with the white acrylic paint and a stencil. The other canvas I used a green inkpad and the same stencil. As you can see this made the canvases totally more interesting for the eye.
