Hi everyone! It's Crew Member Wednesday and we have Linda today showing how you can create a fun little case for her glasses from Kraft-text paper. What an interesting product and an awesome way of using it!

Hello !
Today I want to show you a project where I’ve used Kraft-text paper for the first time. It feels like leather, act likes fabric and is made out of paper. Great to use with your sewing machine. As my first project I made a spectacle case for my reading glasses I always need to bring with me. I was inspired to make this just by looking at the beautiful eye stamp Birgit has designed.
Her is what I used.
First I measured up the paper for the case and an extra pocket for the lens cleaner
I stamped one of the eyes on tissue paper so I could turn the image and make a perfect pair of eyes.
First stitching the pocket on to the sleeve, then I stitched the case together
The backside of the case looks fantastic with half of the Mandela stamp
I made a flap so I am able to close the case.
Some color was needed, nothing like blue on brown paper.
A white gel pen creates nice contrast to the black and brown.
The case ready to care for my glasses
